As someone who is extremely passionate about recycled materials and sustainability in 3D art and design, I decided to create an online shop where I can sell the gently worn, personally designed, or new clothes I have lying around in my house. With the shop being based solely on Instagram at the start, my goal with this side job was to show consumers how cost-effective and high-quality second-hand clothing can be, make styling clothing easier by giving style tips for each item in the description, allow young teens to shop fashionable and cheaply, and overall make thrift shopping fun! After a very successful summer selling clothing in 2023, my shop has evolved to a larger platform to sell on; each order will now be purchased and shipped through Depop. In each order, I provide extra goodies to help grow my seller review (currently at 5 starts) and enourage sellers to come back to my shop for more! These goodies consist of dainty accessories to add to their outfits or lifestyle such as hair clips, pins, rings, stickers, trinkets etc. Simultaneously, I aim to positively impact the consumption of fast-fashion clothing and lessen the amount of wasted clothing sitting around people’s households to create a store like mine!
